Postural Assessment     $100.00

Are you plagued with aches and pains from your daily routine?  Does your back or shoulder always hurt but you don't know why?  Are you looking for a way to achieve optimal performance in your sport?  Think of your body as a stack of books, if all of the books are aligned, there is no problem, but if one book is out of place in the stack, the rest of the books have to shifted to keep the stack balanced.  The exact same thing happens in your body.  An imbalace in your body will cause the rest of the body to shift in order to maintain its center of gravity.  A Postural Assessment is an analysis of your whole body in which imbalances are located and assessed.  You will not only discover what your imbalances are, but we will also give you a series of exercises to bring your body back into a normal balance.

Your Postural Assessment will include:
  • Analysis of Posture from the Front, Back, and Both Sides
    • Check Feet, Knees, Hips, Spine, Shoulders, and Head for Tilt
    • Check Feet, Knees, Hips, Shoulders, Neck, and Head for Rotation
    • Check Spinal Curves
    • Check for shifts in posture, forward head carriage, rounded shoulders, hips set forward or back.
  • A complete write-up of the postural assessment
  • A program designed to correct the postural imbalances, complete with pictures of each exercise.

Muscular Balance and Flexibility Assessment     $100.00

Daily routine and poorly designed workouts actually can wreak more havoc on the body than not doing anything at all.  Exercising or stretching one muscle group more than another will not only make you more susceptible to injury, may also cause trigger points.  A Stength and Flexibilty Assessment will test all the major muscles of the body for strength and tightness. According to your results, strengthening and stretching exercises will be given to correct these problems.

Your Muscular Strength and Flexibility Assessment will include:
  • Flexibility Testing of all major muscle groups
  • Tests for muscular balance in strength between antagonizing muscles
  • Test for muscular balance in strength on the right and left side of the body
  • A complete write-up of the analysis
  • A stretching and strength program to correct the areas that are tight and weak complete with pictures of all the exercises.

Kettlebells require some technique to use in order to ensure that you are doing the exercises in a manner that is safe. KORE Wellness strongly recommends some beginner training before you attempt to use a kettlebell on your own. If you cannot make one of the KORE Wellness Workshops, Classes, or a personal training session, we recommend that you find another RKC Certified Kettlebell instuctor to teach you the basics. You can find a kettlebell instructor in your area by going to Dragondoor.com
