Don't have a lot of time or motivation to get a workout in?
Try this out for a quick workout (10 Minutes):
All you are going to do is 200 swings broken into 5 sets of 40 repetitions:

With one kettlebell:
10 - Two handed swings
10 - Right hand swings
10 - Left hand swings
10 - Two hand swings
Rest 1 minute and repeat 4 more times

This is a great way to get your heart rate up and get a little workout in and NO EXCUSES!!! If you cannot find ten minutes in your day to do 200 swings, you need to re-evaluate your time management! You do not even have to change into workout clothes because by the time you work up to a sweat you will be finished with the workout.  This is also a great way to take a study break or a break at work.  I promise you will return to the work you have to do more focused and alert, (this is a scientifically proven fact!)

Video Clips

Below is a clip of the two-handed Swing.  This will allow you to see the movement in action so you can have an understanding of the action before you try it!  If you have not tried the swing, I urge you to go get some training before you attempt it.  As I tell all of my students, it is seemingly simple but quite complex.

You will  need a Quicktime video player on your computer in order to view the video clip. You can download the Quicktime video player, if necessary.

Kettlebells require some technique to use in order to ensure that you are doing the exercises in a manner that is safe. KORE Wellness strongly recommends some beginner training before you attempt to use a kettlebell on your own. If you cannot make one of the KORE Wellness Workshops, Classes, or a personal training session, we recommend that you find another RKC Certified Kettlebell instuctor to teach you the basics. You can find a kettlebell instructor in your area by going to Dragondoor.com
