Elise Matthews
Director and Founder
 
Elise is an exercise physiologist with certifications from various associations dealing with weight training and conditioning. She is certified with the  American College of Sports Medicine and The National Strength and Conditioning Association. She is also a Russian Kettelbell Certified level 2 trainer, and a Colgan Power Programs Master Trainer. Her main goal is to not only get the general population, women especially more aware of the health benefits of exercise and nutrition, but to get them implementing changes in their lifestyle that will help them to prevent the onset of chronic diseases such as diabetes, osteoporosis, and heart disease.  She will be leading the camps and workshops in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia, focusing on proper technique with the goal of creating a safe, friendly environment to bring people closer to reaching their wellness goals.

Dr. David Matthews
Consultant and Trainer

Dr. Matthews has been praciticing medicine in Charlotte, NC for over 20 years. He is a world renowned Plastic Surgeon specializing in craniofacial reconstructive surgery. He has in the past five years taken a strong interest in nutrition and supplementation as it relates to the recovery time of his patients. He is now beginning to branch out to the general public to treat chronic problems like hypertension and diabetes with natural holistic nutrition and supplementation. David is also a certified RKC level 2 trainer as well as a Colgan Power Programs Master Trainer.

Kettlebells require some technique to use in order to ensure that you are doing the exercises in a manner that is safe. KORE Wellness strongly recommends some beginner training before you attempt to use a kettlebell on your own. If you cannot make one of the KORE Wellness Workshops, Classes, or a personal training session, we recommend that you find another RKC Certified Kettlebell instuctor to teach you the basics.
